After declaration of the Haryana LEET 2026 result for B.Tech, eligible diploma / B.Sc. candidates must participate in online counselling for engineering seats. The process is fully merit‑cum‑preference based.
The broad steps are:

- Choice filling & locking of B.Tech colleges / branches
- Seat allotment result
- Payment of seat acceptance fee (if applicable)
- Reporting to allotted institute with documents
- Subsequent rounds / upgradation if conducted
Counselling Overview – B.Pharmacy LEET
For B.Pharmacy LEET (lateral entry after D.Pharm), counselling is also done through the HSTES portal but only for institutes and seats offering B.Pharm LEET. The broad steps are similar, but your choices and cutoff trends will be pharmacy‑specific.
Key idea: you will still register, fill choices, get seat allotment and report to the pharmacy college within the notified dates.
Step 1 – Online Registration & Fee Payment
- Visit the HSTES counselling portal after the schedule is announced.
- Click on the Haryana LEET 2026 counselling link and create your account using basic details and LEET roll number.
- Pay the counselling fee online using the permitted payment modes.
- Keep the payment receipt / transaction ID safe – it may be needed later.
Step 2 – Choice Filling & Locking
- Log in to the portal and view the list of participating colleges and available branches.
- Arrange choices in your preferred order – you can add many options to increase chances of seat allotment.
- Use previous year Haryana LEET cutoff to make realistic choices based on your expected rank.
- Lock your choices before the deadline. If you forget to lock, the last saved list may be considered – but do not depend on this.
Step 3 – Seat Allotment
- HSTES will publish the seat allotment result on the portal for each counselling round.
- Login using your credentials to see allotted college and branch.
- Download the provisional allotment letter and read the reporting instructions carefully.
Step 4 – Reporting to Allotted College
Candidates must report to the allotted institute within the given time period with all required documents.
